Our Client is a design led, rapidly growing small business within the beauty and Cosmetics gift industry supplying to all sectors of retail.

The office is small but very busy and the company is looking for a talented, very well organised, experienced office manager with a mature attitude who will ensure that the office is run effectively and efficiently as the company meets its growth expectations over the next year or two and beyond.

As an office manager you will:

  • Manage clerical, administrative and secretarial responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate office staff activities to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Evaluate and manage staff performance
  • Organize orientation and training of new staff members
  • Design and implement filing systems
  • Ensure filing systems are maintained and current
  • Establish and monitor procedures for record keeping
  • Ensure security, integrity and confidentiality of data
  • Design and implement office policies and procedures
  • Oversee adherence to office policies and procedures
  • Analyse and monitor internal processes
  • Implement procedural and policy changes to improve operational efficiency
  • Prepare operational reports and schedules to ensure efficiency
  • Co-ordinate schedules, appointments and bookings
  • Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints
  • Manage pension records

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Business degree or equivalent (Desirable not essential)
  • Strong administrative and supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of accounting, data and administrative management practices and procedures ideally experience of Sage Line 50 or similar accounting package
  • Understanding of of clerical & HR management practices and procedures
  • Computer skills and knowledge of office software packages
