This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing cosmetic gift and beauty business that has an innovative, fun and creative range of beauty and cosmetic products.

They sell cosmetic gifts and accessories under their own brand and world renowned licensed brands.

As a project manager you will:

  • Be involved with all major decisions in the NPD process and will oversee the development of more robust and efficient systems and managing all elements of new product development critical paths.
  • Manage a large portfolio of products in all stages of development from their initial concept to launch and will manage a small existing staff and be a key driver in expanding and managing the NPD department
  • Work with the designers to ensure that product ranges are delivered on budget and on time. Identify new trends, product ideas and new areas of opportunity
  •  Help develop new ranges  with both in house and freelance designers

Additionally you will work closely with the supply chain/Logistics manager to deliver on time deliveries. Liaise with technical consultants to ensure product complies with relevant safety standards for required markets and managing the relevant data to ensure full compliance. Work with the factories to manage the QC process to ensure they understand the required quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years’ experience within in similar role within the cosmetics and or toiletries gift fields.
  • Strong background with critical paths
  • Exceptional commercial product judgment and awareness covering a diverse range of product categories
  • Passion for products and trends and will be highly creative
  • Experience in packaging design and construction would be a significant advantage
  • The ability to think strategically and make sound business decisions to achieve desired results
  • A strong financial understanding and a superb natural organiser with a professional and mature manner
  • Will able to work well within a team and be able to lead and inspire when necessary
  • A proactive and results orientated nature with the determination to see projects through from start to finish
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical skills
